Vacaciones familiares en Cancún… ¿sustentables?
¡Al fin! Los niños salen de vacaciones y con el calor de la primavera nada se antoja más que unas vacaciones en la playa. Los niños, mamá y papá, votan por Cancún por sus extensas playas y su inconfundible azul… ¡A tirarse en la arena y descansar de la rutina! Pero, ¿nada más?
¿Qué tal si esta vez apuestas por un Cancún más natural? Unas vacaciones que te pongan a ti y a tu familia en contacto con los aromas de la selva, los sonidos de la naturaleza y la belleza de la variada flora y fauna que caracteriza al Caribe Mexicano. Pero hay algunas más en las que puedes participar para que Xcaret y la Riviera Maya se conserven así de hermosos para las siguientes generaciones.
¿Quieres ayudar? Te compartimos aquí algunos consejos.
1- Cuando viajes en carretera, no arrojes la basura por la ventanilla.
2- Desecha el papel higiénico en el cesto, no en el inodoro.
3- No compres artesanías ni alimentos con materiales de animales en peligro de extinción.
4- Usa la menor cantidad de plástico posible y al desechar una botella procura aplastarla de modo que ocupe menos espacio.
5- No arrojes residuos de ningún tipo a los ríos subterráneos o cenotes.
6- Si vas a nadar en un cenote o río subterráneo, es importante que no te hayas puesto lociones, cremas acondicionadoras, perfumes o desodorantes.
7- Ahorra luz: apaga las luces de tu habitación.
8- Utiliza transportes no contaminantes. Caminar o usar la bicicleta son dos saludables opciones.
9- Si compras artesanías o souvenirs, prefiere las que realizan los artesanos locales.
10- Si caminas por la playa, recoge a tu paso la basura que encuentres. Juega con tus hijos a encontrar la mayor cantidad de basura.
Aquí, frente al hermoso Caribe Mexicano, tu familia y tú pueden acercarse y tocar, sentir, oler, admirar muy, pero muy de cerca todas esas maravillas que la naturaleza nos ha regalado. Sumergirse en un río de aguas transparentes y cálidas, descubrir que a nuestro lado va pasando una mantarraya, poder tocar un delfín, ¡caminar bajo el mar! Todo esto forma parte del Cancún natural que queremos preservar.
Así que te invitamos a que esta vez, además de la sombrilla, la toalla y el traje de baño, traigas una dosis extra de curiosidad y ganas de divertirte, gritar y asombrarte en tus próximas vacaciones familiares en Cancún.
