Meet the social media team for Xcaret, Xel-Há & Xplor!

Hi! We’ve been talking to you for a long time, but we haven’t introduced ourselves. We’re the Social Media team that writes for you on this blog, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and You Tube. We’re four guys who like communication, marketing, technology and we love to show what you can enjoy at Xcaret, Xel-Há and Xplor when you’re on vacation in Cancún and the Mayan Riviera. What do you do in the Social Media Team? I’m the supervisor
How long have you been working at Experiencias Xcaret? I’ve been working here for 10 months
What do you like about working at Experiencias Xcaret? I like to work for a company that takes care of the environment, the community and the professional development of its collaborators. I think Experiencias Xcaret is a corporation of the future living the present because it’s wealth is not only money. The Guinness Record is an example of the company’s commitment to Mexico.
Which is your favorite park and why? I like the three parks. I love Xplor because I feel identified with health, sports, fun and safe adventures.
What would you like to say to the world? I would like to say everyone it’s very important to participate in the continuous improvement of our environment as Experiencias Xcaret does. The wellbeing of all is also the wellbeing of each one.

Name: Angélica García Bermúdez (Alias: Angie)
Profession: Communicologist and Coach
What do you do in the Social Media Team? I’m in charge of publications in facebook and the customer service for our fans. I’m also make reports of how our community is growing and analyze how we can grow it more.
How long have you been working at Experiencias Xcaret? I’ve been working here for 4 years.
What do you like about working at Experiencias Xcaret? What I like the most is I can keep in touch with people. I can help them to enjoy a wonderful holiday by resolving their doubts. I also love when people who had visited us share their experiences and photos. This really enriches us very much.
Which is your favorite park and why? This is a very difficult question! The three parks have their own beauty. If I want to challenge myself, do some exercise and feel the freedom, I’d like to go to Xplor. Xel-Há is my favorite place to share with my family and friends, to relax and reconnect with nature. This park gives me inner peace. But I also love to show off Xcaret to those who visit me. Xcaret makes me feel proud to be Mexican.
What would you like to say to the world? The message I would like to give to the world is we can learn from each experience, service and gratitude can enrich us and if we want to change the world, we must start by ourselves.

What do you do in the Social Media Team? I’m an online public relations executive.
I research the topics of interest for each park and write for the Experiencias Xcaret blog. I also tweet for Xcaret, Xel-Há and Xplor accounts.
How long have you been working at Experiencias Xcaret? I’ve been working here for 2 years.
What do you like about working at Experiencias Xcaret? I’m deeply in love with the natural and cultural richness of Mexico. I believe that through Experiencias Xcaret many people visiting Cancun and the Mayan Riviera can take a piece of this country in their hearts. If visitors are Mexican, Experiencias Xcaret makes them feel proud of their nationality. I love to be part of this gift from Mexico to the world.
Which is your favorite park and why? It’s very difficult to choose a park! I think that depends on the humor with which I wake up. Sometimes I want to go for a bit of adventure at Xplor, and sometimes i’d like to be walking in the Xel-Há jungle pathways. But maybe I feel more identified with Xcaret and its night show, Xcaret Mexico Espectacular. It always makes me feel a great emotion. After a day at Xcaret, I want to take a car and go traveling through Mexico.
What would you like to say to the world? I would like to say “you cannot die if you haven’t been to Mexico”. Also I would like to say life is only an instant, but the world continues after us, so we must leave only good things here. Good things for us, for our sons & for our grandsons.

What do you like about working at Experiencias Xcaret? Experiencias Xcaret is a social responsible place to work. Their values highlight traditions and natural wonders of Mexico. It is a great opportunity to show with pride our national legacy.
Which is your favorite park and why? Xel-Há! It’s a natural wonder with beautiful landscapes, flora and fauna. It is a spiritual journey which connects you to Mother Earth.
What would you like to say to the world? The best thing you can do for humanity is coming aware of your dreams. By doing so, you show a deep love for yourself and for those who join in the journey.
